Augur Lituus answers real-world questions for any app. Zoltar is a shared foundation that lets different oracle designs use REP. Augur Statoblast is a prediction market built on Zoltar.

## How they fit together

Each product has its own job. REP, Augur's token, secures all of them.

- **Any app** asks a real-world question and acts on the answer.
- **Augur Lituus** is the oracle: anyone can report, anyone can challenge, a fork is the last resort.
- **Statoblast Trading** is the trading interface for Augur Statoblast.
- **Augur Statoblast** is prediction markets: collateral, reporting, disputes and settlement.
- **Zoltar** is a forkable oracle ledger that records questions, universes, REP and forks.
- **REP** is Reputation: the token holders put at risk to report, challenge and choose a side in a fork.

This shows each product's role. It doesn't imply that Augur Lituus runs on Zoltar.

## Augur Lituus

Resolution for real-world outcomes.

The next generation of Augur's oracle. Any app can ask a multiple-choice question. Anyone can report an answer, anyone can challenge it with a larger bond, and a fork is the last resort.

Forcing a false answer is designed to cost more than the oracle's entire market cap.

## Zoltar

Shared foundation for oracles.

A forkable oracle ledger. It records questions, universes, REP and forks, and never judges which answer is true.

Different oracle designs can share the same REP, as long as they handle forking.
